Ikhaya Automation Systems provides a plug and play Remote Temperature Monitoring Solution (RTMS) which is used to monitor Fridges, Freezers, Cold Chain Logistics, Incubators, Cryo’s and any other temperature sensitive environment.
A RTMS kit comes standard with:
1 x VM 1000 (RTMS)
1 x Digital Temperature Probe
1 x Internal Temperature and Humidity Sensor
1 x GPS location monitoring
2 x Internal Lithium Ion Batteries
1 x 2 Pin universal power adaptor
1 x Door Sensor
2 x Velcro Strips
We offer flexibility such as:
1. We could provide a universal sim card that suits your specific requirements or you could provide your own local sim card.
2. Interactive Display - past and present alarms can be viewed by interactive LCD display or web platform
3. The standard VM1000 can accept 4 digital probes while the radio version VM1000R can accept 4 wired and 4 wireless probes
4. The wireless probes can do Temperature and Humidity, Pulse counting or take in a 4-20mA input

The RTMS can be configured into 2 states:
Option 1
Local SMS capable standalone data logger which can download the data via USB using an intelligent user friendly PC application and alert multiple users in the event of an excursion. An SD Card will be supplied with the unit at an extra cost and the PC application will be provided free of charge to be utilize of any windows computer. No yearly fee is required for this option.
Option 2
Real-time monitoring system with interactive web service consisting of Dashboard, Reports, Alerts and Graphs, remote viewing of current status.
Alerts can be set up on all variables being monitored by the VM1000; to mention a few Temperature, Humidity, Door Status, Power Failure and etc. These alerts can be customized by device and variable name together with thresholds and specific duration periods. The alerts are Audible, SMS, Email or a combination of each/all. SMS’s alerts are generated from the device itself which eliminates the use of any 3rd party sms providers.

Our dashboard is color coded depicting the status of the variable being measured while our graphing service allows you to Zoom, pan, print or save.
Automated reports are generated daily, weekly, monthly or over a customized period using our playback option. This includes:
1. Detailed summary of variables with a graph
2. Logs for the pre-defined period
3. Exceptions for variables that have exceeded their threshold
4. Alarm history for alerts that have been dispatched to it recipients

Standard RTMS kit for a quantity of 1-49 units = $250 at an annual service fee of $240 using our international sim card or $156 your own sim card
