Document Details

The vaccine carrier has features and capabilities that extend the reach of immunization programs. • Extended cooling: Provides vaccine-safe storage temperatures for five days of continuous use
at 10 to 43 °C ambient temperature, without external power.
• Freeze-free: Prevents vaccine exposure to freezing temperatures without action from the user. • On/off switch: The five-day cold life of a charged vaccine carrier may be stored until needed.
• Safe: Contains no harmful materials or refrigerants.
• Portable: Transportable by car, motorcycle, or on foot.
• Reusable and durable with two year warranty
The charger restores the cooling capacity of the vaccine carrier after use. It is engineered to perform in the most challenging power environments. An operating range from 110VAC to 278VAC creates adaptability across infrastructures, while a suite of voltage stabilization features protects against damage and underperformance. For a single charge, the C1 Charger has a 4 hour charge cycle drawing 900 W for the first 2 hours and 100 W for the last 2 hours totaling 2 kWh of energy per charge. After the charge is complete the transportable Indigo Vaccine Carrier can be stored until ready for use and needs no additional power input to provide its five days of cold life.
A single charger supports multiple vaccine carriers. Changes in geography, fuel cost, and staffing costs can drive the optimal carrier-to-charger ratio for a specific deployment as low as 4:1 or as high as 20:1.
