Emvolio is a portable battery-powered active cooled vaccine carrier with an in-built temperature control and regulation. The system is able to store and carry vaccines to remote locations with temperature accountability to retain vaccine effectiveness.
a.) The refrigerator comes with a custom-designed backpack that can be easily worn by a health worker or even motorcycle mounted.
b.) The refrigerator has an in-built GSM-based IoT system that tracks live vital statistics like temperatures (multiple sensors inside, ambient), location and door opening. This is available for access via an online dashboard that is provided free for the first year’s use with the product, following which a yearly subscription charge will be levied for use. Customer supplies SIM card and SMS gateway services.
