A Country Implementation Guide has been published on WHO website. It was developed with contributions from WHO Headquarters, Regional Offices and technical partners based on the experience and lessons learnt from the AAR and SimEx implemented with the support of WHO and its partners since 2016. The country implementation guide provides criteria for countries to determine whether an AAR or SimEx should be considered as a part of IHR MEF. It also provides relevant information on the planning, conduct and reporting for both instruments.
