Strategic Partnership for Health Security and Emergency Preparedness Portal (SPH Portal) Terms of use and Disclaimers

By accessing, browsing or using the SPH Portal (hereinafter referred to as the “Portal”), the user agrees to accept these Terms of Use and disclaimers. The World Health Organization (“WHO”) reserves the right to update these Terms of Use and disclaimers without notice at any time.

The Portal is intended for the use of both non-registered users and registered users (the latter shall be members of any UN agency, government, non-governmental organization or other entities having an active role in one or more of the activities described throughout the Portal related to Emergency Preparedness, IHR and Health Security). Non-registered users are able to access and view the entirety of the publicly available data section of the Portal. Registered users, in addition to having the same level of access as the non-registered users, will also be able to view, add, modify, and delete their data, depending on the functions and the permissions of their role. Please note that once a registered user submits and publishes or modifies a published entry, the data will be uploaded onto the publicly available section of the Portal as is in the understanding that neither WHO nor the Portal Administrators will verify the content uploaded by registered users onto the Portal.

Registered users will be asked to provide a WHO Azure password. They are responsible for not disclosing the password to any third party and for safeguarding it. They are also responsible for any actions or activities that result from their account. If they have reason to believe that their password or account may have been compromised, they are responsible for changing the password immediately and for notifying the Portal Administrators.

The views expressed on the Portal are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of WHO.

In no event shall WHO, or the Portal Administrators, be responsible for the accuracy of information posted by any user on the Portal. WHO makes no warranties or representations regarding the completeness or accuracy of any content posted in the Portal and shall not be held liable for any damages whatsoever as a result of its use or application. The responsibility for the interpretation and use of the content lies with the reader and/or user. WHO, and the Portal Administrators, reserve the right to make updates and changes to posted content without notice and accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in this regard.

WHO, and the Portal Administrators, accept no responsibility whatsoever for any inaccurate advice or information that may be posted on the Portal or referred to in sources reached via links or other external references to the content of the Portal.

The Portal may contain links to resources on external websites. WHO is not responsible for the accuracy or content of any of these external links. The presence of any resource or external link on the Portal does not imply that the resource, its author/s or entity, is endorsed or recommended by WHO. These links are provided for convenience only.

The designations employed and the presentation of content on the Portal, including maps and other illustrative materials, do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of WHO concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city or area, or of its authorities, or concerning the delineation of frontiers and borders. Dotted lines on maps represent approximate border lines for which there may not yet be full agreement.
