PHE is in the process of negotiating an MOU with the CHP. The purpose of the MOU is to form the basis of collaboration between PHE and CHP to exchange of information, expertise and resources relating to public health matters of interest. The MOU is general in nature and may be amended by the joint written consent of both participants. It identifies three areas of joint interest as AMR, tobacco control, and HIV prevention and control. DH and FCO are sighted on the current draft, which is currently with CHP legal team for approval. No joint work programmes have yet been initiated.
