The purpose of the exercise is to evaluate coordination mechanisms in response to emerging public health threats, and to provide opportunities to validate existing mechanisms and identify areas for enhancement._x000D_

Scope:_x000D_
This is a TTX, simulating an outbreak of avian influenza in municipality X of Timor-Leste. Through a facilitated discussion, participants will review the processes involved for an efficient coordination of the response, from the deployment of an investigation team up until the declaration of the end of the epidemic._x000D_
The roles and coordination of government agencies (MOH, MOAF, PoE) and UN agencies (WHO) are included in the scope._x000D_
Specific Objectives_x000D_
Familiarize participants with roles and responsibilities of agencies in detecting and responding to a public health emergency._x000D_
Understand communication and reporting channels by different national and international agencies during a public health emergency._x000D_
Validate the existing coordination mechanism for public health emergency and identify the gaps for improvement_x000D_
