Mentorship initiative to support and sustain the international biosafety and biosecurity community. Mentor and Mentee pairs are brought together each month to discuss regional and global issues pertaining to biosafety, biosecurity, and biological non-proliferation. Mentees receive guidance from their mentors in obtaining IFBA Professional Certifications and other career developing skills. The program features local mentorship pairings with emphasis on a South-to-South mentorship model, where emerging professionals receive guidance from mentors in their geographic area.
