Key objectives

Based on two TORs of WHOCC, we have 6 activities on October 17 - 19, 2017 (3 days), as below. ・To provide policy and technical advice to WHO and Member States in implementation of APSED. ・To provide in-country training and technical advice on IPC and clinical management of EIDs. ・To participate in monitoring and assessments of in-country capacity in relation to IHR core capacities through APSED. ・To share information and knowledge on best practices of IPC and clinical management of EIDs ・To provide technical support in the investigation of EID outbreaks. ・As part of outbreak response, to provide technical assistance in improving IPC and clinical management of EIDs. Specially, our center would like to support as filed of IPC and clinical management. Actually, our center developed the guidance documents of IPC and clinical management of EID in English and shared this document through Center’s website : http://dcc.ncgm.go.jp/activity/WHOCC/2017.html These documents were composed of IPC and clinical management of EVD, MERS, effective risk communication practice, response to EVD and MERS in NCGM, personal protective equipment, and hand hygiene.
