IHR NFP SimEx (Crystal)_x000D_ The objectives of IHR Exercise Crystal 2018 were:_x000D_ 1. to validate the functional accessibility of the IHR NFP and WHO IHR DO using registered_x000D_ contact details;_x000D_ 2. to practice and test IHR NFP’s assessment of public health events using the decision-making_x000D_ instrument contained in Annex 2 of the IHR (2005); and its notification process including_x000D_ posting to the IHR Event Information Site (EIS);_x000D_ 3.

The simulation Exercise focused on a public health emergency response at a major point of entry, in this case, Paro International Airport. Participants were presented with challenges focused on an imported case of an infectious disease, in this case a disease similar to SARS. _x000D_

EVD Preparedness_x000D_ SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:_x000D_ i. To test preparedness and response capacities and functionality of the EVD technical working groups at the National and sub national levels._x000D_ ii. To test the coordination linkages and synergies between the different technical working groups (TWGs)_x000D_ iii.
