Santé publique France, the French national public health agency is a governmental institution reporting to the Ministry of Health. Created in 2016, Santé publique France brings together the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS), the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education, and the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Agency. The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) was established in 1942 according to the Reorganization of Ministries, Sub-Ministries and Departments Act, B.E. 2485 (1942). The MOPH is the national health authority responsible for formulating, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of health-related policies.
