Climate change is one of the greatest global health threats of the 21st century. If the rise in global temperatures continues, it will increase the intensity and frequency of heat waves and the incidence of extreme weather conditions, such as flooding and droughts. Most global warming is attributable to human activities, and climate change is projected to increase threats to human health.4 Between 2007 and 2016, weather-related disasters increased by 46% over the average of 210 per year in 1990–1999.5 The health of millions of people across the world is being significantly harmed by climate change
