The Table Top Exercise is designed to help support Pakistan to develop systematic, effective and sustainable mechanisms to identify and manage health risks in the context of mass gathering events. Regional Government is being particularly targeted in these events as it is the regions that undertake most of the planning at a local level._x000D_

Scope: _x000D_
_x000D_
The exercise will examine specifically, the complexities and challenges that are presented by hosting mass gathering events and generating a discussion and common vision on how plans must be coordinated in order to ensure timely and appropriate decision making. The table-top exercise involved decision makers from relevant stakeholders including Ministry of Health, Civil Defence Agencies, Government Planning Departments and other invited participants. Most of these participants were from regional government. _x000D_

1. To review current mechanisms and identify the current gaps with regards to mass gathering preparedness and management in Pakistan _x000D_
2. To ensure effective engagement of relevant stakeholders and explicitly define their roles and responsibilities_x000D_
3. To discuss and agree on plan frame work emergency preparedness and management for mass gatherings in Pakistan_x000D_
