A training on Operational Readiness (OPR) for Anglophone countries took place in Kentele, Republic of Congo on 12-16 November. WHO Regional Office for Africa and WHO Headquarters facilitated the workshop. Twenty-eight WHO Country Offices’ (WCO) staff were taken through the concepts, methodologies and tools that are available for risk assessment, early warning, contingency and business continuity planning as well as simulation exercises. Participants committed to using the materials presented during the workshop to implement the OPR activities in their countries.
