The overall objective of the SIMEX is to strengthen preparedness and response capacities of Nigerian Health System against a possible outbreak of yellow fever in an urban setting._x000D_
Specific Objective were to:_x000D_
I. Test the effectiveness of preparedness and response measures of Nigeria in the event of YF outbreak._x000D_
II. Strengthen the capacity of individuals and institutions to carry out planning to improve response to YF outbreaks._x000D_
III. Strengthen partnership, teamwork and multi-sectoral collaboration among Nigerian health workforce in managing YF outbreaks._x000D_
IV. Share the major conclusions and lessons learned from this exercise with key policy makers on epidemic preparedness and response._x000D_
