The exercise objectives were to:_x000D_
1. Advocate for the newly adopted all hazards multi-sectoral response mechanism within MOH and with other relevant partners and stakeholders._x000D_
2. Test/validate the protocols for the activation and operation of the PHEOC, particularly with respect to:_x000D_
a. the role of the Policy Group,_x000D_
b. the new Emergency Response Plan (ERP), including policies, plans and SOPs._x000D_
3. Identify opportunities to improve MOH emergency response capacities and capabilities._x000D_
Scope_x000D_
The scope of the exercise encompassed a multi-sectoral response to a public health emergency affecting Jordan, and included:_x000D_
• Government agencies with responsibilities under the National Centre for Security Management outbreak plan_x000D_
• Other partners specified in emergency response plans_x000D_
