79 stakeholders from both the public health and animal health services of Pakistan gathered in Islamabad for three days to improve the work at the human-animal interface.

Using case studies, group exercises and results from external evaluations (WHO's JEE and OIE's PVS Evaluation) strengths and gaps in the collaboration between the two sectors in various technical domains were discussed and a road map was elaborated to enhance intersectoral collaboration in the prevention, detection and response to zoonotic diseases outbreaks.
