FAO Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD)

The FAO Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) country teams deliver support to FAO members to prevent or limit the spread of high impact animal diseases. ECTAD plans and delivers animal health assistance to more than 37 countries responding to the threat of high-impact diseases, helping to avoid spread and contributing to the protection of people and animals.
