The funding from Chinese Government improved availability of essential medicines at national and subnational COVID-19 designated facilities. As part of the on-going COVID-19 response in South Sudan, WHO through funding from Chinese Government has donated a range of pharmaceuticals; around 234 boxes, 5,166 kgs and 10m3 to the Ministry of Health for use in 18 health facilities designated for treating COVID-19 patients across the country, and to support confirmed cases of COVID-19 under home based isolation.
