The objectives of the COVID-19 vaccine SimeEx were to:
 review the package of the documents and responsible institutions to assure appropriate vaccine delivery;
 evaluate the customs clearance procedures and vaccine recipient transportation to the national vaccine store;
 test the National Vaccine Storage procedures on vaccine stock management and vaccine delivery to the regional level and to health care institutions;
 document cold chain conditions & capacities for vaccine transportation from the regional level of public health center to health care facilities (vaccination centers);
 evaluate the vaccination procedure at the level of the primary health care facilities with focus on injection safety, IPC measures, waste management and monitoring of immunization.
