Pre-Call for Expressions of Interest: Community-based social innovations for older people

Pre-call for Expressions of Interest: Community-based social innovations for older people

The WHO Kobe Centre and RAND Europe are now inviting all interested parties to suggest case study sites for a large-scale research project of community-based social innovations (CBSIs) that support healthy ageing for older people in middle-income countries (MICs). Please see the websites below for WHO Kobe Centre and RAND Europe for more information on how to submit interest by 4 November 2016.

Partnering with RAND Europe, this new research aims at improving health and wellbeing among older people at a community level, and to guide development and implementation of various models of community-based care and support services. These are needed as many countries and communities have not yet fully planned to deliver comprehensive health/social services in support of rapidly ageing populations. Emphasis is being given to middle and high income countries.
