Remarks
As a VVM 14 does not match the accelerated stability profile of this vaccine VVM type 7 is accepted in principle for use with this product pending development of a VVM intermediate to type 7 and type 14 which would better match the stability profile. However VVM7 reaches its expiry after 2 years 8 months at 5°C and 1 year 8 months at 8°C. Therefore careful vaccine management in the field is required to avoid VVM on batches reaching their endpoint while the vaccine is still within its expiry date leading to vaccine wastage.
