Professor Maged Elsherbiny received his PhD in vaccine and diagnostics of infectious diseases.
He holds a degree in immunology from Cairo University. He is well-known for his outstanding research in the field of immunology and infectious diseases i.e. schistosomiasis, and has published numerous scientific papers.
Prof Elsherbiny has occupied several important positions in Science and Technology System in Egypt, such as Vice-Minister for Scientific Research and Technology and Secretary General for the Higher Council of Science and Technology.
In September 2017, he was appointed as the Senior Advisor for Direct Aid International, Kuwait.
