Training of Assessors for IVD Prequalification in WHO Academy, Lyon, France

A training for assessors is being conducted at the WHO Academy in Lyon from 21 to 24 April 2026 to strengthen capacity for the WHO prequalification of in vitro diagnostics (IVDs). The training focuses on the regulatory and technical requirements of the IVD prequalification process and change requests. Through presentations, case studies, and group discussions, participants aligned on assessment principles and approaches, supporting robust, consistent, and transparent evaluations of IVDs for global procurement and use.
