Would you like to host the next International Age-friendly Cities Conference?

Invitation for Expressions of Interest

After the great success of the first and second international age-friendly city conferences in Dublin in 2011 and Quebec City in 2013, WHO is pleased to announce a request for expression of interest to host future International Conferences on Age-friendly Cities and Communities.
These international meetings provide a unique forum for the exchange of innovative research and practice in the field of age-friendly environments for members of the WHO Global Network of Age-friendly Cities and Communities, researchers, NGOs and leading experts in the field of ageing from around the world who come together to share new research and current best practice, find inspiration, unleash new ideas and advance the field of ageing.

Would you like to hold the next conference in your country? We invite expressions of interest from local, regional and national governments, civil society organizations and academic institutions from WHO Member States. The Conference will be organized and funded by the conference host and co-sponsored by WHO.

To make us aware that you may have an interest in hosting a future international conference on age-friendly cities, kindly let us know via this online form before 31 December 2014:

Login: AFC Conference / Password: AFC Conference

Full proposals will be subsequently invited.
