Looking back

Reflections:
The first Yate Ageing Better Festival was in 2020, meaning that COVID social distancing restrictions limited the number of stall holders the event could accommodate. Future festivals have aligned with public health guidance provided at the time.

Challenges:
Staffing resources was one challenge for the festival. This event requires the attendance of an entire department at our organisation, as well as volunteers. Some key groups of volunteers did not participate in as great of numbers as was expected.
