Summary

We continue to collaborate with associations to develop Age-Friendly Cities practices. In this context, we organized workshops with key staff in different departments of the municipality. What are age-friendly apps? How should age-friendly apps be? 13 staff participated in the training program, which included topics such as age-friendly cities. In the program, we compared houses and streets in cities. We argued about home architecture for older people. The training program, which will continue for about 5 months, will continue with technical visits in September.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozgur Arun at Akdeniz University provided training for staff from different directorates for the production of rights-based and inclusive public services. At the workshop, the experiences of Muratpaşa Municipality staff and their expectations and suggestions for the future were also discussed.
