WHO has published an update on the status of ongoing Emergency Use Listing (EUL) applications for in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) for Bundibugyo virus disease (BDBV).
Since the opening of the EUL procedure, over 20 manufacturers have contacted WHO to express interest. Following initial screening and pre-submission engagement, manufacturers of five products have been invited to submit full EUL dossiers for assessment.
WHO continues to engage closely with developers to facilitate timely access to quality-assured diagnostics in support of the ongoing public health response.
