First EUL to PQ transition of IVDs

For the first time, two SARS-CoV-2 antigen detection rapid tests have successfully transitioned from WHO’s Emergency Use Listing (EUL) to WHO Prequalification (PQ):

•     SD Biosensor STANDARD Q COVID-19 Ag Test

•     ACON Biotech Flowflex SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Self-Testing)

Both products were previously listed under WHO’s EUL requirements and have now achieved WHO Prequalification.
