The Porto City Council received, at the 3rd Social City Congress, the title of “Solidarity Municipality”, in addition to having five of its social projects awarded the “Municipal Excellence Award”. The ceremony took place last June in Vila Nova de Poiares.

At the session, the municipal projects Inclusive Volunteering, Golf for All, Solidarity Restaurant Network, molDAR, and the Porto Age-Friendly City Action Plan were recognized — all developed by the Municipal Department of Social Cohesion.
