The population of Oiso Town is 33,045 as of January 2017. It is estimated to decline for the future as follows; below 30,000 in a decade later (the year of 2027), approximately 26,000 in two decades later (the year of 2037).

Regarding the elderly population of Oiso Town the population of 65 years old or over as of the end of September 2016 is 10,651 that account for 32.3% of the total population.

In between FY2018 and FY2023, we, Oiso Town, will implement the following actions based on the eight (8) topics of Age-friendly City, and the above-mentioned status of aging and basic principle.
