May 6/7 2019 – Committee members attended the 36th Annual, Centre on Aging Spring Research Symposium, U of Manitoba.
May 14, 2019 – An Accessibility spring walk-a–bout with the Town of Stonewall council, Chamber of Commerce, Newspapers. A report was completed and sent to the Town and concerns were addressed.
May 30, 2019 – Community Celebration 2.0 brought high school, professionals and older persons together to focus on Ageism and re-framing life’s expectations.
June 2019 – Application to the World Health Organization Global Network was accepted.
July, 2019 – Completed Gov. of MB sustainability survey stating need for assisted and supportive living.
August 17, 2019 – Partnered with Senior Resource, Handivan and Standard Limestone to have a tour of the Quarry and the Heritage Arts Centre.

October 2019 – Submitted a Newspaper article for November – ‘Financial Literacy’ month.
October 2019 – Wrote letter of concern to Co-op groceries re discontinuation of delivery service. Appreciation letter to Family Foods for ongoing delivery.
November 2019 – Attended the Alzheimer Society ‘Virtual dementia tour’. Applied for Manitoba 150 grant to cover expenses for a Wellness Expo to be held October 1, 2020.
