Committed To Becoming More Age-Friendly
Roseville United States of America
The City of Roseville Senior Commission is the force behind the City’s Age-Friendly Initiative. Roseville joined the WHO Global Network of Age-friendly Cities and Communities in March 2013.
The Senior Commission is currently working on gathering data to assess and create a baseline assessment of the age-friendliness of the city, building on the written survey conducted in Fall 2013 with 721 respondents. Currently, the Commission has two follow-up focus groups scheduled for further outreach to the seniors in the community. Once the data has been gathered and analysed, the Commission aims to develop a three-year city-wide plan of action and progress monitoring.
