The municipality of Enéas Marques is small, located in the Southwest region of Paraná, with a territorial area of ​​192.20 km², with agriculture and pig farming as the main sources of income, and currently has a population of approximately 6,209 inhabitants, with approximately 12 % of elderly people aged over 60 years old, according to data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics – IBGE. The municipality has already been developing several services, projects and actions aimed at the elderly and, with intergenerational projects with children and adolescents, gradually improving these services in a way that promotes the participation and inclusion of the elderly in society, with appreciation and recognition human and social. Adherence to the Cities and Communities Program Amigas do Idoso involved the participation of an intersectoral team, formed by technicians from different segments (Department of Health, Department of Education, Culture and Sport and Department of Social Assistance and Family Affairs), executive and legislation and civil society, and thus, results are expected that allow inclusion, encourage solidarity, empathy and respect between generations, providing the implementation of public policies that guarantee and guarantee to the elderly all their human rights: integral protection, participation in the community, dignity, respect, well-being and realization of the rights to life, health, food, education, culture, sport, leisure, work, citizenship, religious freedom, family life and security, respecting each phase and always putting the elderly safe of any type of violence, thus providing an active, participatory, healthy aging process with quality of life for the population.
