May 20, 2022 marks the date when as part of the celebration of the Days of Opole, the Information and Education Center “Senior in Opole” organized in front of the Center building a happening called “Muzyczna Krakowska.” The event was full of attractions. The musical setting was provided by the “Opolanie” band, which played and sang. This is a band that operates within the music section of Senior Center. Dance section – seniors who dance solo bachata – gave a performance during which they presented the prepared dance routine. Additionally, the participants of the happening, viewers and passers-by could take part in a spontaneous bachata and zumba dance. Members of the art section “WATERCOLES” exhibited their paintings so that passersby could admire their works. One of the additional attractions was a photo booth where everyone could take souvenir photos. During the event, members of the Council of Seniors of the City of Opole were on duty. It was also possible to take advantage of individual consultations with ZUS (Social Insurance) employees regarding all matters related to pensions. The event was also accompanied by various refreshments, e.g. cakes, cookies, hot and cold drinks. Colorful balloons were distributed to passers-by. The seniors to have been assembled had a very nice time. It was an opportunity to meet, spend time together and have fun together in a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere.
