The Department of Municipalities & Agriculture Affairs in Sharjah which is represented the Municipalities in the city has provided seats in the public parks within the activity of implementing waiting chairs in the park according to their Social responsibility initiative in the strategic plan in Sharjah age-friendly city program the number of seats implemented since the start of the program 153 seats in 32 parks and that means they have completed 62% of the total index for four years 2017-2020.​
