Sharjah age friendly office launched the second round of the initiative ” Green Heart Award” and starts receiving the applications.

The objective of the Green Heart Award is to appreciate the efforts of the elderly in various activities and fields, this competition is to encourage the elderly to develop their daily lifestyle.

The Award fields are cultural, health, social, and professional fields. and there are two Award Categories, Active Seniors category that consists of ages from 60 to 79 years old and the other category is advanced age group that consists of elderly people from the ages of 80 years old and over.

The evaluation committee is expected to finish evaluating the participants’ files at the end of August, and the winners will be honored later, in conjunction with the International Day of the Elderly.
