In order to achieve one of the strategic objectives of Sharjah Age-friendly Cities program ,Sharjah Police Headquarter and Department of Social Services has collaborated in giving lectures on (be prepared for the demographic pyramid reversal) for different institutions in Sharjah in order to spread the awareness among Sharjah organizations though providing scientific materials. Their main goal is to achieve 172 awareness lectures by 2020 on ageing and the need to prepare for the reversal of the demographic pyramid by customizing the services, programs and infrastructure to fit the elderly needs and requirements
