The City of Wilton Manors – Age-Friendly Community Survey began in late 2018 with hard-copy distribution at various city locations.  With disappointing responses, the survey was added to Survey Monkey, with versions in English, Creole, and Spanish (pushed in City social media platforms); and a hard-copy was included (as a center pull-out) in the City’s resident newsletter in May/June 2019 which is U.S. Mailed to all 6,000+ City households.  Through its July 2019 deadline a total of 159 responses were received.  These responses were reviewed and became the basis for the City’s Age-Friendly Community Action Plan that was first presented to the City Commission (with overwhelming support) on October 22, 2019.
