In 2017, the Town of Whitby along with Community Partners, formed an Age-Friendly Network to examine the Age-Friendly aspects of our town. After broad community consultation, the Network developed the Age-Friendly Whitby Action Plan with 72 action items to encourage active aging and quality of life for all residents.
