This Report is based on the results of a Community Assessment conducted by Age-Friendly Coastal Communities, a regional initiative coordinated by Healthy Peninsula and affiliated with the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities. The goal of the Age-Friendly Community Assessment is to help the coastal and island communities of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Deer Isle, and Stonington better understand the needs, wants, and preferences of older residents and to make the region more livable for residents of all ages.
