Age-Friendly Campus Community Connect Event

This summer, Ontario Tech University will be hosting an Age-Friendly Campus Community Connect event. This event will take place at Ontario Tech’s North Oshawa campus on August 11th. We are excited to welcome all seniors and caregivers to our campus this summer to tour the grounds; chat with staff from athletics, the library, and various faculties; try out some sports like pickle ball; and meet our students!

Start the day with a tour of our campus and the amazing facilities it has to offer. Then meet with our students at the outdoor ‘living library’, where you can chat about a number of topics such as their experience of attending university during a pandemic, the range of experiential learning opportunities on our campus, balancing varsity athletics and academics, and much more. Finally, head on up to our Soccer field to play cottage games, and learn pickle ball with our varsity athletes.

Ontario Tech University is committed to becoming a more inclusive part of the community and wants individuals of all ages to feel welcome on campus.
