Available 24 hours a day Taxi Saúde +65 service allows a Porto Card holder aged 65 or over to take a taxi for €2 to travel from an address in Porto to a health center or public/private hospital located in the Municipality, or for a return journey from one of these health establishments.

Reflections:
The long period of the COVID-19 pandemic had direct effects on the reduction of the demand for health care by the population, making it essential to quickly ensure the resumption of levels of health care in terms of prevention and diagnosis, especially for older persons.

Challenges:
The first measure of this kind taken by the Porto City Council was related to travel to vaccination sites within the scope of the pandemic. Currently it extends to any health center or hospital.
