Summary

Trentino Salute + is a free app where a virtual coach interacts with the user by proposing a series of “health challenges”, encouraging individuals to become involved and active in their daily lives.

How collaboration worked: Salute + has been created by the competence centre for the development of digital health, Trentino Salute 4.0 which includes: The Autonomous Province of Trento, The Bruno Kessler research Foundation and the Trentino Health Trust APSS

Older people’s involvement: Older people were not directly involved

Details on older people’s involvement: Salute + is helping older people follow a healthy lifestyle on a daily basis aided by both the app and the virtual coach. It also encourages the use of technology helping to increase digital literacy.

Expansion plans:
Our age-friendly practice is available to all the citizens in Trentino. We are continuously working on the development of the app including content and communication features.
