Summary

Under the Housing Domain, our Reimaging Home committee has been working diligently since 2017 to identify and define a variety of housing options that could exist to support older adults within the community. Understanding that most people believe they start in their home and end up in a long term care facility, when in fact, there could be numerous other options. We identified the following and are offering educational seminars to the community.

  • Modifying the home
  • Expanding the Home
  • Shared Housing
  • Co-Housing
  • The Villages Models
  • Assisted Living
  • Memory Care and,
  • Skilled Care.
