Manazuru Support Teams named “Mana Support”

Summary

Many volunteers are actively engaged in Manazuru Town’s projects for older people, and we have created support teams named “Mana Support” to provide volunteer opportunities for those who can help older people with their day-to-day tasks. Through “Mana Support”, the Town aims to foster a community where residents can mutually support each other and share experiences and resources.

In addition, we have been nurturing the “Supporters for Dementia Seniors” project since 2007. We are accepting more and more sign-ups every year, and we plan to organize these volunteers to have them become supporters for nursing care prevention classes.

The Volunteer Center of our Social Welfare Council assists volunteers’ activities by providing seminars and various information and assisting with local groups’ programs and development.
