Summary

Liverpool’s Older Peoples Awards were organised by Liverpool Registered Social Landlords, Liverpool City Council and partner agencies who work and support ‘Older People’ in the city. The awards are for over 65’s and community groups catering for older people, with prizes of up to £500.00 on offer.The awards pay tribute to the achievements of remarkable older people from within the local community and those who take time out of their own lives to help support older people in their home and neighborhood.There are 7 award categories:• The Outstanding Community Volunteer Award• The The Outstanding Active Person Award• The Outstanding Skilled / Interesting Person / Lifelong Learning Award• The Outstanding Carer Award• The Older Person Initiative Award• The Outstanding Older Person Agency Award• The Smile Award
