Housing Strategy

Summary

Housing has been identified as a priority area of concern by seniors since our baseline consultation in 2007, with older people requesting more diversity of housing choice.

A local Housing strategy was developed over the last few years and is currently being implemented. Engagement with older people on its development was significant and included a 47% response from over 55’s to a final survey, as a result the strategy analyses in detail the local issues of affordability, diversity and seniors housing.

Visit the City of Melville website for more information on the Housing Strategy.
