Summary

The Municipality of Cartago has been selected by the HelpAge International organization to develop the Interurban Transportation Program Leading to Respect for the Elderly People of the Canton: Promotion of the Right to Free Transit and access to the city for the older people, through Transportation Quality public, through the campaign “Leading to Respect for the Elderly of Cartago”

This campaign seeks to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of older people through the promotion of the Right to Free Transit and access to the city, sensitizing drivers and the community in general, to the appropriate treatment of the adult population (the largest user of public transport in the canton of Cartago), through a massive communication campaign on social networks, public transport buses in the main stations of the city. Videos, infographics, posters, stickers and promotions, related to the rights of older people will be broadcast through various communication channels.
