How collaboration worked: The NGOs which provided services to older adults worked together to recruit older people and trained them as ambassadors to promote age-friendly communication and information in the community. Instructors were engaged to train the ambassadors and equip them with key knowledge digital knowledge such as how to access wifi and use mobile apps. The ambassadors were also involved in the design of booklets which identified useful information for older people, and were distributed throughout the district. Last but not least, field studies were organised in the community, the ambassadors identified the spots where information is typically accessed and evaluated the wifi at various facilities. A session was also organised to share the findings of the ambassadors and their suggestions to improve age-friendly communication and information.
